Heather Frankham
Our Vision
I am passionate about supporting young people in Bristol to build the motivation and confidence to be their best selves, enabling them to contribute to the city’s vibrant and diverse communities. I am a trustee of the Origin Foundation, whose mission aligns with this focus. I am also Chair of Youth Moves 224, a South Bristol charity delivering open-access youth programmes, and am currently leading the development of a new £12m Youth Zone opening in 2026 in partnership with OnSide. Once open, the centre will support over 4,000 young people each year through a wide range of creative, sporting and educational activities.
Rob Hingston
Our involvement
Supporting charities that work with children and young adults from underserved communities is a real passion of mine and to have the opportunity to make a difference to such communities via the Origin Foundation is extremely rewarding. I am an advocate of the volunteer days that are held by our partner charities as they allow me personally to give back to the communities as well as generate awareness in the members of Origin Workspace.

Our approach
As an Origin Foundation trustee, I am excited to be involved with the Foundation and, in particular, the impact it will have on the various communities within Bristol. I am keen to support the Origin Foundation in being a strategic organisation that encourages leaders, businesses and charities to collaborate to inspire young people. We aim to support the delivery of impactful solutions using the various expertise and experiences of the board of trustees.

Our experiences
As someone who has built a business from the ground up, I am excited to be sharing my journey with other young adults who may have similar ambitions. Being a trustee of the Origin Foundation, it will allow me to share my experiences of growing a business in a modern and constantly changing world and how I used the resources around me to my full advantage.

Our perspective
As a young adult living in Bristol, I hope to bring a different view to the trustee board, being the voice that can highlight some of the challenges that young adults face today. I am honoured to be on the trustee board to begin engaging with other young people from different communities.
